The Secret World Pre-Orders Now Available, Public Beta Announced

Award winning indie dev Funcom and publishing behemoth EA, have just announced that their upcoming modern day warfare MMO, The Secret World, can now be pre-ordered.

Described by the media as a game that takes "bold steps to revolutionize the MMO [market]", The Secret World pits three infamous secret factions, The Illuminati, The Templars and The Dragons, against each other in a modern day world where all of conspiracy theories and peculiar myths that the governments have worked to keep secret (and tinfoil hat wearing maniacs have worked to publicise) are now true.

While The Secret World release date is June 19th, along with the pre-order announcement, EA and Funcom have also announced a public beta for the game, set to begin on May 11th. You can visit the official website of The Secret World to sign up, in the hopes of bagging a spot, but the only way to guarantee a place is to pre-order, as depicted below.
