Aion Free-to-Play Registrations Count More than 750,000

Following the transition to a free to lay model, NCSoft's MMORPG hit Aion now has official post-transition registration numbers to measure its performance since the shift.
More specifically, there's 750,000 layers worth and counting, with an average registration count of 20,000 per day.
Or as Gameforge CEO Alexander Rösner says, "Gameforge has heralded the start of a new era for its free-to-play sector" with Aion's free-to-lay relaunch. Rösner also says that "Further AAA titles will follow in the coming months."
And yes, that's enough to make Aion one of the most successful games in the Gameforge (portfolio, that is).
