Miner Wars Release Date Pushed Back

For those of you patiently awaiting the Miner Wars games to be released, this news will not make you best pleased.
Keen Software House, the brains behind both games in the Miner Wars franchise (Miner Wars 2081 and Miner Wars MMO) have just released a statement explaining their reasons for postponing the releases of both games.
Miner Wars 2081, the space shooter that's set in a fully destructible environment, has been pushed back to a Q3-Q4 2012 release date, with its franchise counterpart, Miner Wars MMO (which is set in the same world) being pushed back to Q4 2012 as a result.
Keen Software say that they want to ensure that Miner Wars (that includes both games) "has been polished and handles well" and that they are making progress. Promising thoughts for those of us who cannot wait to blow the upper regions of the sky to pieces.
