First Official MechWarrior Online Trailer Hits

After what has been several revelations of mechs, questions being answered, and constant updates on the various aspects of the overall experience, Piranha Games has finally delivered the first official trailer for the latest (and first MMO-style) entry in the MechWarrior series -- complete with its centerpiece Atlas mech, a pilot's view overlook sequence or three, and a complete dropship deployment.

Nothing else is readily apparent from the trailer itself -- it's apparently more of a teaser than anything else -- but considering that MechWarrior Online will release as an entirely free-to-play experience, you can definitely expect the initial game content (and all future updates) to roll out with automatic DLC deployments much like your average Vindictus or Runes of Magic updates. Oh yeah, and the developer has also started accepting pre-registration for pilot codenames, so you might want to hurry up and reserve your desired identification before someone else gets it registered first.
